Whew - this weekend was crazy. Lots of organizing, packing and cleaning. Plus, I made some time to visit the family and whip up some luggage tags and a new patchwork belt. I can hardly believe I accomplished so much... oh, and yard work, too.
So, I am all packed and ready for New York. Maybe ready is the wrong word, I am still nervous and am sure I forgot something... even though I wrote list after list to ensure I remembered everything.
My new patchwork belt is much improved from my first attempt last year. I remember to use both d-rings and use patterned fabric for a portion on the back. I am really happy with it. I used my Summer in the City charm pack for the fabric. It gave me enough for two belts... although, I only had enough time to complete one yesterday. I can't wait to wear it.
I will be taking a blog break while I until next week... I'll miss you!
That is the CUTEST belt!!! Is the pattern yours? Because I'd LOVE to make one (or a dozen 'cause they're so cute!) for myself! And I love how you used several rows of stitching - that's a really great detail. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share!! :)
